People think of Europe as sophisticated, and they take delight in being there, in enjoying its culture, its food, its history, its beauty. But what is more important than all that is the condition of Europe spiritually.
Eastern Europe especially represents a great needy field for the Gospel. In so many of the countries – Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Poland, Hungary, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Moldova, Montenegro... and on and on, there is very little evangelistic activity or interest.
It is estimated that in Eastern Europe and Eurasia there is a population of approximately 336,138,000 people, comprising over 840 people groups. Of this population it is estimated that about 28.1% are totally unreached peoples, equaling an unreached population of about 18,815,000.
The Mailbox Club is actively involved in reaching out to children, young people, and adults in these countries with Christ-centered Bible lessons. TMC works with many ministries in facilitating the printing and distribution of the Bible lessons in the most remote areas, as well as in the more populated cities.
Many times, the only “Bible” or “Scripture” that a child or young person will ever see are the TMC Bible lessons someone places in their hands. These little “paper missionaries” contain the Word of God, and they go places that not many people can go. They wind up in the homes of many families where there is no Bible or Christian literature at all.
Our work in Eastern Europe during 2010 included printing 1.3 million Bible lessons and enrolling 124,621 students to take those lessons. Out of these 65,484 students completed at least one of our Bible courses and 19,678 indicated to us that they had placed their trust in Jesus Christ as their personal savior. These ministry results were effected through our partnership with CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) and Churches in 14 countries of Eastern Europe.
I am (we are) interested in the possibility of using Mailbox Club Bible lessons in my (our) ministry located in the Eastern Europe Region.
Please send me (us) further information based on the request below.
