Meet the Yems

Tevyneath Yem, M.D., founder of The Harvest Development Organization of Cambodia (THDOC) began a partnership with The Mailbox Club (TMC), Valdosta, in 2003. THDOC is dedicated to reaching people for Jesus Christ through social programs and the Scriptures. In addition to his role with THDOC, Dr. Yem is professor of AIDS awareness for the Cambodian government and is senior pastor of the Peace of Christ Church in Phnom Penh. In 2004, his soon-to-be bride, Sereyroth Phon (Sere), became the Cambodian in-country coordinator for TMC. In 2005, they married and, today, they have two children. For many years, the Yems have used TMC Bible lessons through the Samaritan’s Purse/Operation Christmas Child program, reaching and teaching thousands of children the Bible.
They have also used TMC lessons in many of their other outreaches to underprivileged children, including:
• Mobile schools into landfills
• Medical clinics
• Village outreaches
• Feeding programs
• Orphanages

In 2010, THDOC had the following impact using TMC materials:
Lessons Printed : 48,400
Children Enrolled: 4,524
Graduates: 2,239
Professions of Faith :1,842
Sere and Neath look to God for living and ministry expenses. The Lord provides this through His generous people, both in Cambodia and abroad.

How you can partner with the Yems…
Pray! ...for the children of Cambodia, the ministry of the Yems, and their country.
Give! ...for just $20 per month, 120 tender-hearted children can participate in a Mailbox Club per year, led by a trained, godly mentor, creating relationships with the mentor, Jesus Christ and a local church. That’s $2 per child!
