I first came in contact with the Mailbox club around the age of 11 I would estimate. I’m not sure who told me, but I think it was from a VBS in Yampa, Colorado. I received Jesus as my Savior during the studies. All I have is the fond memories of getting the lessons in the mail and learning something new. About 20 years later I am more involved in the church than I have ever been with a 6 year old. I am so grateful to the mailbox club for what they do and would love to volunteer to help continue their mission.
I came to know Christ in 1978 while incarcerated as a teenager. I began receiving your bible lessons while in prison and without question they were a huge part of my spiritual growth. Today I am a pastor serving since 1996 and I am trying to reach out to many who for one reason or another do not attend church but view a nightly devotional I host on Facebook Live entitled “Come Aside”.
From a teacher: I really enjoy the Explorers lesson booklets. It helps my students learn a lot. Thanks to these booklets and the people who are sending them to our school. May God bless them.
